HERE WE ARE SUMMARY

Oliver Jeffers book Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth is a guide for readers. Written for his son, it’s as if Jeffers is talking directly to readers, teaching them about the different parts of the planet. Jeffers starts off big, discussing outer space and narrows in to teach about the human body.

Not only does Oliver Jeffers teach facts about the planet, he discusses how to be a good citizen on planet earth. The planet is filled with many different people and animals, all of them are different shapes, sizes and colors. It is our job to take care of the earth, because it is the only one we have. At the end, Jeffers reminds readers that they are never alone on earth, so if they need help, all they have to do is ask.
