THE KINDEST RED SUMMARY

The story The Kindest Red is about a girl named Faziah who is getting ready for picture day. She is so excited to wear her red dress from her mama and sister. When she gets to school, her teacher asks the class what kind of world they want to be a part of. The class brainstorms the different worlds they want to live in. Faziah wants to live in a world that’s kind and people help one another.

When Faziah and her class go out to recess, Faziah and her friends spread kindness all around. When it is time to take a sibling picture for picture day, a little kindness is returned to Faziah.
