Miranda Montgomery is an expert on animals and loves Nature Joe episodes. She has learned a lot from watching his shows and when she sees her teacher Mrs. Birdley at the grocery store, she know Mrs. Birdley is lost and away from her natural habitat. Miranda must return Mrs. Birdley to school and builds many traps to capture her.

When Miranda is finally able to capture Mrs. Birdley, she brings her back to school and locks her back in her habitat. The next day she sees her principal at the home improvement store and is thankful she has experience returning teachers to where they belong.
