ME AND MAMA SUMMARY

A little girl wakes up in the morning and goes downstairs to find her Mama. The girl wants to be where her Mama is. It is a rainy day and the little girl looks forward to going outside and playing in the puddles. Mama reminds the girl that they must get ready for the day first.

Mama and the girl both have something to drink. Mama’s cup is white with flowers while the girl’s cup is red. Next, they brush their teeth and take a shower. The little girl thinks about how she and Mama both have silver dresses. Before doing their hair, Mama and the girl eat breakfast. Mama has berries on her oatmeal the girl has bananas. When they do their hair, they both wear a barrette.

Finally it is time to go outside and the girl and Mama wear their rainboots. They walks through the wet streets. Mama sings a song while they walk through the trees. At home, it is time for bed. Mama reads to the girl and her brother before both kids go to bed. The little girl lays in bed thinking back on her day.
