FLETCHER AND THE SPRINGTIME BLOSSOMS SUMMARY

It is a nice spring day and Fletcher is outside enjoying nature. He finds himself in an orchard after tumbling down a hill and is surprised by what he sees: white flakes falling from the sky! Fletcher is immediately concerned about the cold and how it will affect the buds and butterflies so he sets off to spread the word.

Fletcher comes across a group of birds and explains they’ve flown home too early. He tells them about the snow that is coming and they decide that before they fly south they must tell Porcupine. When Porcupine hears about the snow, he is concerned about Squirrel and whether or not he has enough food. The group of animals set out to warn Squirrel.

Squirrel hears about the snow and wants to tell the rabbits so they can eat as much grass as they can. The rabbits hear about the snow and decide before they start eating, they should all go play! All the animals make their way to the orchard and realize that it wasn’t snow after all! Blossoms were falling from the trees! All of the animals have fun playing in the piles of blossoms together.
