APPLE TROUBLE! SUMMARY

The story Apple Trouble! is about Hedgehog who is building her nest for her long winter sleep. Suddenly, a juicy red apple falls onto Hedgehog and gets stuck on her back! Hedgehog can’t fit in her nest anymore with the apple on her back so she visits many friends to try to get the apple off her back. Every time she tries to get the apple off, more and more things get stuck on her back! Hedgehog worries that she will never fit in her nest.

Pig suggests that Hedgehog squeezes under the hedge so that it will knock everything off her back. The hedge doesn’t work but when she gets to the other side she sees Goat! The items on Hedgehog’s back look like lunch to Goat! Goat gets everything off Hedgehog’s back and Hedgehog is finally able to rest in her nest.
