What is the If I Had $100.00 Activity?

The “If I Had $100 Writing Project” is a fun and engaging activity that is perfect for the 100th Day of School! It is appropriate for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students. They are asked to imagine what they would do if they had $100. This can be approached in two ways. One way is for students to write a personal narrative where they share their own ideas and wishes. The other way is for students to write a creative story where they invent a fun scenario.

The project includes various resources like templates, graphic organizers, differentiated writing pages, and checklists that guide students through the writing process in a structured way. The addition of a 100 Dollar Bill template allows students to decorate or personalize it, either by drawing a self-portrait or adding a photo. Display the final writing pieces and the completed dollar bill printables on your bulletin board to celebrate the 100th day of school milestone.
